Product Name:Mouse Anti-Human Fc Fragment of IgE, Low Affinity II, Receptor for (CD23) Antibody, FITC-Conjugated
Synonym: FCER2; Fc fragment of IgE, low affinity II, receptor for (CD23); CD23; FCE2; CD23A; IGEBF; CLEC4J; low affinity immunoglobulin epsilon Fc receptor; BLAST-2; CD23 antigen; fc-epsilon-RII; lymphocyte IgE receptor; immunoglobulin E-binding factor; C-type lectin domain family 4, member J; Fc fragment of IgE, low affinity II, receptor for (CD23A); Fc-epsilon-RII; Immunoglobulin E-binding factor; Lymphocyte IgE receptor.
Gene Introduction: CD23 is a 45 kDa type II membrane glycoprotein belonging to the C-type lectin family, and is identical to the low affinity IgE receptor (FcεRII). CD23 is primarily expressed on B cells and monocytes including a strong expression on EBV-transformed B lymphoblasts. CD23 is also present on a large variety of other cells such as T cells, eosinophils, platelets, Langerhans cells and a subset of thymic epithelial cells. However, CD23 is absent in a large number of normal non-lymphoid human tissues, such as, central nervous system, endocrine glands, gastrointestinal, respiratory, urinary and female/male reproductive system, skin, bone, cartilage, connective tissue, muscles, peripheral nerves, vessels, mesothelium, synovium, placenta and umbilical cord. Anti-CD23, MHM6, was included in the Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth International Workshop and Conference on Human Leucocyte Differentiation Antigens, and studies by a number of laboratories confirmed its reactivity with CD23.
