  • 34kDa
  • Purity:
  • Greater than 95% as obsereved by SDS-PAGE.
  • Bioactivity:
  • The specific activity of recombinant human BMP4 protein was determined by the dose dependent induction of alkaline phosphatase production in the ATDC-5 cell line (Mouse chondrogenic cell line) and is typically 4.53ng/ml corresponding to a Specific Activity of 220,750.55IU/mg.
  • Formulation:
  • The recombinant huamn BMP4 protein was lyophilized from 0.7mg/ml in 2xPBS+6% ethanol.
  • Stability:
  • Recombinant human BMP4 Proteins are stable for up to 1 year from date of receipt at -70℃
  • Reconstitution:
  • It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant human BMP4 protein in sterile 4mM HCl containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant HSA.
  • Storage:
  • Lyophilized recombinant human BMP4 protein although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution recombinant human BMP4 protein should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
