Cat#: | RP-4962H |
Product Name: | Recombinant Human PDGF BB Protein, HEK |
Synonym: | Glioma-derived growth factor, GDGF, Osteosarcoma-derived Growth Factor, ODGF, SIS, SSV, PDGF2, c-sis, FLJ12858, PDGF-BB, PDGF B-chain, Platelet-derived growth factor beta polypeptide, Becaplermin. |
Description: | PDGF-BB Protein produced in HEK cells is a glycosylated homodimer, having a molecular weight of 25kDa due to glycosylation. The PDGF-BB is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. |
Source: | HEK. |
Purity: | Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE. |
Bioactivity: | Assay # 1: The biological activity was measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA, the ED50 is typically 0.02-0.6 µg/ml. Assay # 2: The biological activity was determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of mouse 3T3 cells |
Formulation: | The PDGF-BB protein was lyophilized from 1mg/ml in Acetonitrile and TFA. |
Stability: | Recombinant Proteins are stable for up to 1 year from date of receipt at -70℃ |
Reconstitution: | It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized PDGF-BB in sterile PBS containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant HSA. |
Storage: | Lyophilized PDGF-BB although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution PDGF-BB should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles. |
