Cat#: | RP-4323H |
Product Name: | Recombinant Human LIF Protein, HEK |
Synonym: | CDF, HILDA, D-FACTOR, Differentiation- stimulating factor, Melanoma-derived LPL inhibitor, MLPLI, Emfilermin, Leukemia inhibitory factor, LIF, DIA. |
Description: | Leukemia Inhibitory Factor Protein produced in HEK cells is a glycosylated monomer, having a molecular weight of 19.9kDa due to glycosylation. The LIF is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. |
Source: | HEK. |
Purity: | Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE. |
Bioactivity: | The biological activity was determined by its ability to stimulate the proliferation of Human TF-1 cells, the ED50 is typically less than 0.1ng/ml. |
Formulation: | The LIF protein was lyophilized from 1mg/ml in PBS pH 7.4. |
Stability: | Recombinant Proteins are stable for up to 1 year from date of receipt at -70℃ |
Reconstitution: | It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized LIF in sterile PBS containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant HSA. |
Storage: | Lyophilized LIF although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution LIF should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles. |
