Cat#:EIA-583C;Product Name:Human CD40 Ligand, CD40LG ELISA Kit;Size:15 Plates, 45 Plates;Intended use:RUO;Synonym:CD40LG; CD40 ligand; IGM; IMD3; TRAP; gp39; CD154; CD40L; HIGM1; T-BAM; TNFSF5; hCD40L; CD40 ligand; T-cell antigen Gp39; T-B cell-activating molecule; tumor necrosis factor (ligand) superfamily member 5; TNF-related activation protein; CD40 antigen ligand; CD40-L;Background:CD154, also called CD40 ligand or CD40L, is a protein that is primarily expressed on activated T cells and is a member of the TNF superfamily of molecules. It binds to CD40 on antigen-presenting cells (APC), which leads to many effects depending on the target cell type. In general, CD40L plays the role of a costimulatory molecule and induces activation in APC in association with T cell receptor stimulation by MHC molecules on the APC. In total CD40L has three binding partners: CD40, α5β1 integrin and αIIbβ3. CD154 is expressed on the surface of T cells. It regulates B cell function by engaging CD40 on the B cell surface. A defect in this gene results in an inability to undergo immunoglobulin class switch and is associated with hyper IgM syndrome.;Species Reactivity:Human;Application:Quantitative;Storage:Unopened Kit: Store at 2 - 8°C. Do not use past kit expiration date. Opened/Reconstituted Reagents: TMB Solution A; TMB Solution B; TMB Stop Solution; Wash Buffer; HRP-conjugate antibody The above mentioned reagents should be stored for up to 1 month at 2 - 8°C. Microplate Wells: Return unused wells to the foil pouch containing the desiccant pack, reseal along entire edge of zip-seal. May be stored for up to 1 month at 2 - 8°C.;Usage:For Lab Research Use Only;Detection Principle:Sandwich ELISA;
