Cat#:EIA-685C;Product Name:Endothelin(1-21) ELISA Kit;Size:96 T;Sample:SERUM, EDTA PLASMA, URINE, SALIVA AND CELL CULTURE;Intended use:N/A;Synonym:ABCDS; Ednra; Ednrb; EDNRB; Endothelin B receptor; Endothelin B receptor precursor; Endothelin receptor Non selective type; Endothelin receptor non-selective type; Endothelin receptor type B; ET B; ET-B; ET-BR; ETB; ETBR; ETRB; Hirschsprung disease 2; HSCR; HSCR2; OTTHUMP00000018534; OTTHUMP00000178736; WS4A;Background:Cleavage of Big Endothelin by a membrane-bound metalloproteinase, the Endothelin Converting Enzyme (ECE) leads to the active ET (1-21), a potent vasoconstrictor, and to the biological inactive C-terminal fragment (22-38). The half-life of ET in the plasma is less than one minute, whereas clearance of Big ET is much slower. Endothelin has been identified in a variety of tissues, including lung, kidney, brain, pituitary and peripheral endocrine tissues and placenta. The biological role of ET extends beyond regulating vascular tone also in its growth regulatory properties. The peptide interacts in an autocrine/paracrine manner with specific ET receptors found on numerous cells, including smooth muscle cells, myocytes, and fibroblasts.;Species Reactivity:Human;Application:Quantitative;Storage:Unopened Kit: Store at 2 - 8°C. Do not use past kit expiration date. Opened/Reconstituted Reagents: TMB Solution A; TMB Solution B; TMB Stop Solution; Wash Buffer; HRP-conjugate antibody The above mentioned reagents should be stored for up to 1 month at 2 - 8°C. Microplate Wells: Return unused wells to the foil pouch containing the desiccant pack, reseal along entire edge of zip-seal. May be stored for up to 1 month at 2 - 8°C.;Usage:For Lab Research Use Only;Detection Principle:Sandwich ELISA;
