Cat#: | RP-4080H |
Product Name: | Recombinant Human IL6 Protein, HEK |
Synonym: | IFN-b2, B cell differentiation factor, BCDF, BSF-2, HPGF, HSF, MGI-2, B-cell stimulatory factor 2, Interferon beta-2, Hybridoma growth factor, CTL differentiation factor, CDF, IL-6, HGF. |
Description: | IL-6 Protein produced in HEK cells is a glycosylated monomer, having a molecular weight range of 26-30kDa due to glycosylation. The IL6 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. |
Source: | HEK. |
Purity: | Greater than 95% as obsereved by SDS-PAGE. |
Bioactivity: | The activity was determined by the dose dependent stimulation of the proliferation of human TF-1 cells (human erythroleukemic indicator cell line) and is typically 0.2-1ng/ml. |
Formulation: | The IL6 was lyophilized from 1mg/ml in 1xPBS. |
Stability: | Recombinant Proteins are stable for up to 1 year from date of receipt at -70℃ |
Reconstitution: | It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized IL-6 in sterile PBS containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant HSA. |
Storage: | Lyophilized?IL-6 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution IL6 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles. |
