Cat#:EIA-395C;Product Name:Human Tumor Necrosis Factor (Ligand) Superfamily, Member 12, TNFSF12 ELISA Kit;Size:15 plates, 45 plates;Intended use:RUO;Synonym:TNFSF12; tumor necrosis factor (ligand) superfamily, member 12; APO3L; DR3LG; TWEAK; MGC20669; MGC129581; APO3/DR3 ligand; TNF-related WEAK inducer of apoptosis; Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 12; APO3 ligand; Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 12, membrane form; Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 12, secreted form; UNQ181/PRO207; MGC129581; MGC20669;Background:The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. This protein is a ligand for the FN14/TWEAKR receptor. This cytokine has overlapping signaling functions with TNF, but displays a much wider tissue distribution. This cytokine, which exists in both membrane-bound and secreted forms, can induce apoptosis via multiple pathways of cell death in a cell type-specific manner. This cytokine is also found to promote proliferation and migration of endothelial cells, and thus acts as a regulator of angiogenesis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Some transcripts skip the last exon of this gene and continue into the second exon of the neighboring TNFSF13 gene; such read-through transcripts are contained in GeneID 407977, TNFSF12-TNFSF13.;Species Reactivity:Human;Application:Quantitative;Storage:Unopened Kit: Store at 2 - 8°C. Do not use past kit expiration date. Opened/Reconstituted Reagents: TMB Solution A; TMB Solution B; TMB Stop Solution; Wash Buffer; HRP-conjugate antibody The above mentioned reagents should be stored for up to 1 month at 2 - 8°C. Microplate Wells: Return unused wells to the foil pouch containing the desiccant pack, reseal along entire edge of zip-seal. May be stored for up to 1 month at 2 - 8°C.;Usage:For Lab Research Use Only;Detection Principle:Sandwich ELISA;
