Cat#:RP-1770M
Product Name:Recombinant Mouse GDNF Protein
Synonym: ATF1, ATF2, HFB1-GDNF, GDNF.
Description: Recombinant Mouse Glial derived Neurotrophic Factor/GDNF protein with no tag expressed in E.coli is a non-glycosylated homodimer containing 2 x 135 amino acids and having a total molecular mass of 30.2kDa. Recombinant mouse GDNF protein is purified by our unique chromatographic techniques.
Source: E.coli
AA Sequence: MSPDKQAAL PRRENRNRQAA AASPENSRGK GRRGQRGKNR GCVLTAIHLN VTDLGLGYET KEELIFRYCS GSCESAETMY DKILKNLSRS RRLTSDKVGQ ACCRPVAFDD DLSFLDDNLV YHILRKHSAK RCGCI.
Molecular Characterization: 30.2kDa
Purity: Greater than 98.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Bioactivity: The ED50 of recombinant mouse GDNF protein as determined by the dose-dependent proliferation of C6 cells, is 0.8-0.12µg/ml.
Formulation: Recombinant mouse GDNF protein was lyophilized with no additives.
Stability: Recombinant mouse GDNF Proteins are stable for up to 1 year from date of receipt at -70℃
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant mouse Glial Derived Neurotrophic Factor in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Storage: Lyophilized Glial-derived Neurotrophic Factor / GDNF protein although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution recombinant mouse GDNF protein should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
