Recombinant Human IGF1R / CD221 Protein (His Tag) Online Inquiry

Cat#:RP-0838H
Product Name:Recombinant Human IGF1R / CD221 Protein (His Tag)
Synonym: IGF1R; IGFR; CD221; IGFIR; JTK13; insulin like growth factor 1 receptor
Gene Introduction: Gene ID: 3480. IGF1R, the full name is insulin like growth factor 1 receptor. This receptor binds insulin-like growth factor with a high affinity. It has tyrosine kinase activity. The insulin-like growth factor I receptor plays a critical role in transformation events. Cleavage of the precursor generates alpha and beta subunits. It is highly overexpressed in most malignant tissues where it functions as an anti-apoptotic agent by enhancing cell survival. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, May 2014]
Description: A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Asn 932) of human IGF1 Receptor (NP_000866.1) precursor was expressed with a C-terminal polyhistidine tag.
Source: Human Cells
Predicted N Terminal: Glu 31
Molecular Characterization: The calculated molecular masses for α subunit, β subunit and the single chain of the receptor are approximately 81 kDa, 23 kDa and 104 kDa, respectively. As a result of glycosylation, the recombinant single chain, α subunit and β subunit have apparent molecular masses of approximately 150 kDa, 120 kDa and 48 kDa, respectively in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
