Product Name:Recombinant Human FGF1 Protein
Synonym: HBGF-1, ECGF-beta, FIBP, FGFIBP, FIBP-1, ECGF, ECGFA, GLIO703, FGF1, FGF-a.
Description: Recombinant Fibroblast Growth Factor-acidic Protein / FGF-1 produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 140 amino acids and having a molecular mass of approximately 15.8kDa. The human FGF1 protein is purified by our unique chromatographic techniques.
Source: E.coli
AA Sequence: MFNLPPGNYK KPKLLYCSNG GHFLRILPDG TVDGTRDRSD QHIQLQLSAE SVGEVYIKST ETGQYLAMDT DGLLYGSQTP NEECLFLERL EENHYNTYIS KKHAEKNWFV GLKKNGSCKR GPRTHYGQKA ILFLPLPVSS D.
Purity: Greater than 95.0% as determined by: (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Bioactivity: The ED50, calculated by the dose-dependant proliferation of mouse BALB/c 3T3 cells is <0.5 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of > 2,000,000IU/mg.
Formulation: The human FGF1 protein was lyophilized from a concentrated (1mg/ml) sterile solution containing PBS, pH 7.4.
Stability: Recombinant Human FGF1 Proteins are stable for up to 1 year from date of receipt at -70℃
Reconstitution: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Fibroblast Growth Factor-acidic / FGF1 protein in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O at 4 degrees Celsius at a concentration of 0.1mg-0.25mg per 1ml. Allow sample to sit for 5 min. at 4 degrees, spin to remove precipitant.
Storage: Lyophilized recombinant human Fibroblast Growth Factor-1 / FGF1 protein although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution recombinant human FGF-1 protein should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
